Hotel Ojo Azul Resort, located at Camino Vecinal 8C-2 Francisco Zarco, 22750 Valle de Guadalupe, B.C., Mexico is the controller of your personal data. This notice is issued under the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

Data we process
To handle your reservation and stay we process your name, email address, mobile number, reservation details, the messages you send us, and, when you pay online, the data needed to collect payment. We do not request sensitive data in order to book. If a minor stays at the hotel, their data is provided by a parent or guardian.
Why we use it
These purposes do not require separate consent, because they are necessary for the reservation and the stay: confirming the booking, collecting payment, preparing arrival, check-in and check-out, and answering your messages about the stay by email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Promotional offers are sent only with your separate consent. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any booking or purchase.
Service providers and disclosures
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your phone number, email address, or messaging consent to third parties for their own marketing.
We share this information only with the providers that perform the service: GuruHotel, which operates the website and messaging on the hotel’s behalf; the payment processor, to collect the reservation; and the providers that deliver the messages, such as Twilio, Meta/WhatsApp, and our email provider. We may also disclose it when a competent authority requires us to.
We keep the information for as long as we need it to serve your stay and to meet legal obligations, including tax obligations.
How to limit use
For SMS or WhatsApp, reply STOP. You will receive one confirmation message. For email, use the unsubscribe link. If you opt out of one channel, we may still contact you on the others until you opt out of those too. For help, reply HELP or email info@ojoazulresort.com.
Access rights and withdrawal
You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection, and you may withdraw consent at info@ojoazulresort.com. Include your name, how we should reply, the data involved, and a copy of your identification. We will reply within 20 days and, if the request proceeds, we will carry it out within the following 15 days. The request is free, except for reproduction or delivery costs.
Withdrawal does not apply retroactively and does not by itself cancel a confirmed reservation. Cancellation and refunds for the stay follow the hotel’s policies.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be published on this page.
